Fulcrum Risk Solutions insurance advisors is a Dynamic Growth Oriented Agency domiciled in Columbia South Carolina. We serve and protect a 5000-member Medical Association established in 1897 through our Proprietary Health Insurance Trust, Medical Malpractice Programs, and a wide range of insurance products.
We are looking to grow our property casualty division by hiring experienced Property Casualty Agents to expand our reach into related and additional market sectors. Our ideal candidate will possess the following
· Self-starter with prospecting, marketing, and networking expertise
· Ability to consistently generate opportunities through various processes including cold calling, canvassing, networking, and marketing.
· Driven, Goal oriented individual with a strong record of accomplishment
· Significant new Business Production and client retention experience
· Loyal, committed, service-oriented professional
· Professional results-oriented individual focused on building long-term relationships with clients and underwriters.
· Focused experience in one or more industry sectors – Medical / Health Sciences a plus
· Exceptional written and oral communication
· Excellent presentation and speaking skills
· Exceptional problem-solving abilities
· Collaborative approach to serving clients, able to effectively lead service teams.
· Strong organization and time management skills
· Strong negotiation and networking abilities
· Strong decision-making abilities.
· Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines
· Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
· High degree of comfort with technology.
· Proficiency with MS Office and various business software especially CRM software
· Analytical, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to analyze profit/loss statements and other related financial data.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior leadership, peers, subordinates, internal resources, and clients.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree
· 5 years of experience as a Licensed P & C Agent serving an existing book of business
· Experience with budget and business plan development
· Located or willing to re-locate in the greater Columbia SC Area
